Richard Poehlein

Lamar, Indiana Richard C. "Rick" Poehlein, 54, passed away October 31, 2018 at his home. He was born in Tell City, March 29, 1964 son of Carolyn Sue (Hess) Poehlein. Rick was preceded in death by his son, Brian Poehlein, and grandchildren, Sebastian Johnson and Caleb Poehlein. Rick worked for MasterBrand and Esarey Dairy Farm. He enjoyed canoeing, fishing and NASCAR. He is survived by his mother, Carolyn Poehlein, Chrisney; children, Richie Colvin (Shawn), Washington, Amanda Johnson, Washington, Scott Ford (Michaela), Paoli, Michael Poehlein, Tell City, Emma Poehlein, Tell City and Andrew Poehlein, Tell City; sisters, Karen Roerig (Mark), Melbourne, Florida, Vicki Cockrum (Dan), Chrisney; brothers, Butch Poehlein (Wendy), Houston, Texas, Tim Poehlein (Denise), Holland, Cliff Poehlein (Chris), Gentryville, Keith Poehlein (Amy), Gentryville and Greg Poehlein, Chrisney; five grandchildren, Trinity Johnson, Briley and Brantley Poehlein, Alexzander Caleb Poehlein and Luna Ford. Funeral services will be at 6:00 PM CST Saturday at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Pastor Christena Poehlein will officiate. Visitation will be from 1:00 until 6:00 PM on Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association.
