Richard Lagrange

Tell City, Indiana Richard ""Rick"" LaGrange, 62, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at Owensboro Medical Health Systems. He was born August 5, 1949 in Tell City, son of the late Gerald LaGrange and Phyllis (Donnelly) LaGrange who survives him. Rick was a 1967 graduate of Perry Central High School and a U.S. Marine Corp veteran. He was a member of the American Legion Post #213 and enjoyed attending shooting matches, the outdoors and spending time with family and friends. Rick had worked at Meggitt, Inc. He is survived by his wife Shannon (Loper) LaGrange, Tell City; mother, Phyllis LaGrange, Dale; daughter, Shauna Dilger (Chris), Ferdinand; son, Todd Cripe (Angie), Frankfort, KY; step-daughter, Jolene Swaney (John), Tell City; sisters, Patty Flamion (Richard), Holland, and Angie Ayer (Doug), Dale; brothers, Allen LaGrange (Rita), Tell City, Clifford LaGrange (Joani), Leopold, and Roger LaGrange, West Hollywood, CA; 11 grandchildren and 2 step-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 19, 2011 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel with burial in Lilly Dale Cemetery where there will be military graveside rites. Pastor Harry McDonald will officiate. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 7:00 PM on Friday and from 9:00 AM until service time on Saturday. The family wants to express their thanks to Allen and Rita LaGrange for the special care shown to them during this difficult time. Memorial contributions may be made to Brooke's Journey.
