Raymond Pfeifer

Chrisney, Indiana Raymond F. Pfeifer, 57, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2016, at his home. He was born in Perry County, October 14, 1958, and was a 1977 graduate of Perry Central High School. Raymond worked for Carpenter's Union Local #224. He was united in marriage to Laura (Raaf) Robbins on August 31, 2002. Raymond was a member of Southern Indiana Horseman's Club and Southern Indiana Draft Horse and Mule Association. He enjoyed horseback riding, wagon riding, camping, hunting, working, and spending time with his grandchildren, family and friends. Raymond is survived by his wife Laura Pfeifer, Chrisney; sons, Ryan Pfeifer (Amanda Cochenour), Leopold and Cody Pfeifer (Kristin Truelove), Tell City; daughter, Shannon Perkins (Terry), Grandview; parents, Bob and Janell Pfeifer, Tell City; sisters, Patty Toothman (Danny), Magnet, Tammy Craney (David), Derby, and Cheri Durchholz (Jim), Evansville; brother, Bobby Pfeifer (Lesa), Derby; grandchildren, Kinley Pfeifer and Chloe and Shelby Wilkinson and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Dee Madison Pfeifer and grandparents, William and Roberta Pfeifer and Dee and Minerva Sanders. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM on February 24, 2016, at St. Paul Catholic Church, with burial in New Hope Cemetery in Newtonville. Rev. Jack Durchholz will officiate. Visitation is from 2:00 until 8:00 PM on Tuesday and from 8:30 until 9:30 AM Wednesday at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made for the benefit of Raymond Pfeifer at any Fifth Third Bank. Envelopes will also be available at the funeral home.
