Tell City, Indiana - Ralph N. Ward, 89, passed away on November 30, 2016 at Golden Living Center. He was born on April 11, 1927, in Mount Pleasant. His parents were the late Clyde and Pearl (Sprinkle) Ward. Also preceding him in death was his wife, Mary Agnes (Jarboe) Ward and his brothers, Danny, Floyd and Elmer Ward. Ralph was a U.S. Army Air Corp veteran. He was a member of American Legion Post #213 for over 60 years. He retired from General Electric and had worked for Leonard Cassidy Sawmill for several years. Ralph and was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Surviving are his daughter, Carolyn Cronin (Jack Wroe); sister, Hazel Voges (Cletus); grandchildren, Marty Cronin and Shannon Krautkremer; great grandchildren, Eleanor and Matthew Cronin and Lana, Laura and Andrew Krautkremer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, December 3, 2016, at St. Paul Catholic Church with burial in St. Mary Cemetery where military rites will be conducted by American Legion Post #213. Rev. Sengole Thomas G. will officiate. Visitation will be from 3:00 until 7:00 PM on Friday and from 8:30 until 9:30 AM on Saturday at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to American Legion Post #213.
