Cannelton, Indiana - Phyllis L. Sibrel, 50, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2015, at her home. She was born in Tell City on July 9, 1965. Her parents were the late Carl A. and Martha (Cunningham) Flamion. Phyllis was a 1983 graduate of Perry Central High School and married Scott Sibrel on August 1, 1987, at St. John's United Church of Christ in Cannelton. For twenty nine years, she worked at Old National Bank in Tell City as a customer service representative. A member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Phyllis enjoyed spending time with her family and looked forward to Relay For Life events. Surviving are her husband of 28 years, Scott Sibrel; daughter, Dana Sibrel, Wise, Virginia; father-in-law, Earl Sibrel, Cannelton; sisters, Rita Hagman, Fort Valley, Georgia, Joan Franklin, Tampa, Florida, Jane Seifert, Ferdinand, Karen Kuntz, Ferdinand, Carla Cooper, Tell City and Joyce Schmitt, Haubstadt; brothers, Joe Flamion, Tell City, Michael Flamion, Middleburg, Florida and Eugene Flamion, Tell City and several nieces and nephews. Also preceding her in death were her mother-in-law, Dorothy Sibrel and her sister-in-law, Kathy Petrik. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 4, 2015, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in New Cliff Cemetery. Rev. Mike Thompson will officiate. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 8:00 PM on Monday and from 9:00 AM until service time on Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John United Church of Christ and Old National Bank's Relay For Life Team.
