Phyllis Richards

Troy, Indiana Phyllis R. Richards, 67, passed away October 20, 2015 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born September 28, 1948 in Leopold, Indiana, daughter of the late Leonard and Margaret (DuPont) Hubert. Also preceding her in death was her husband Stanley Richards. A 1966 graduate of Perry Central High School, she was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. Phyllis had worked at Best Home Furnishings. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, sewing, crafts, gardening and her grand dogs, Maxwell and McKenzie. Phyllis was also an avid IU basketball and Indianapolis Colts fan. Phyllis is survived by her daughters; Tina Krieg, Troy, Jennifer Brown (Allan), Tell City and Jenny Richards, Lamar; sons, Ryan Krieg (Stacy), Cannelton and Craig Richards (Lisa), Evanston; sisters, Judy Goffinet (Steve), Orleans, Arlene Poole (Dale), Tell City, Angela LeClere, Apalona; brother, Leonard Hubert (Mindy), Apalona; 8 grandchildren, Nevaeh Krieg, Chelsea Krieg, Chase Richards, Gracie Richards, Corey Richards, Christian Lane, Blake Brown and Korbin Brown. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Friday, October 23, 2015 at St. Paul Catholic Church with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Rev. Dennis Duvelius will officiate. Visitation will be from 3:00 until 8:00 PM Thursday and from 8:30 until 9:30 AM Friday at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Riley's Children Hospital.
