Phyllis Huffman

Tell City, Indiana Phyllis A. Huffman, 53, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Perry County Memorial Hospital. She was born May 23, 1958 daughter of the late Edwin and Marie (Niehaus) Mehling. Also preceding her in death was a daughter Amber and son Aaron. Phyllis worked at Treasure Hunters in Tell City. A member of The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, she participated in volunteer work there. She is survived by her husband William Huffman; daughters Rachel and Emilee Huffman, both of Tell City; sisters, Ann Hostetter, Jasper, Millie Wong, Lebanon,Tennessee, Lucinda Hurst, Ferdinand, Ginny VanKirk, Ferdinand, and Belinda Simmons, Carmel; brothers, Ralph Mehling and Leon Mehling, both of Jasper. Private family graveside services will be held at Huffman Cemetery. There will be a memorial service at 6:00 PM Friday, December 30, 2011 at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on Old State Road 37 in Tell City. Huber Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to The World Wide Fund of Jehovah's Witnesses.
