Bristow, Indiana Phyllis Crockett, 77, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2013 at Scenic Hills Care Center. She was born July 18, 1936 in Chicago Heights, daughter of the late Frank and Alice (Grabin) Zeman. Also preceding her in death was her husband Bill Crockett who passed away August 29, 2012. Phyllis was co-owner of Ferdinand Bakery. A member of St. John's Lutheran Church, she enjoyed crocheting, quilting, gardening, working jigsaw puzzles and playing dominos. She is survived by her daughter; Stephanie Scheiber (Robert), Tell City; son, William "Bill" Crockett (Kim), Bristow; sister, Carol Zartler, South Chicago Heights, IL; brother, Steve Zeman, Crete, IL; 4 grandchildren, Alexandra Wilson (Jason), Brianna Crockett, Eric Scheiber and Blake Crockett; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Monday, December 2, 2013 at St. John's Lutheran Church with burial in the church cemetery. Pastor Daniel Gadbaw will officiate. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 7:00 PM on Sunday at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel and from 9:00 until 10:00 AM Monday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church.
