Phillip Roark

Tobinsport, Indiana - Phillip E. "Phil" Roark, 61, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2016 at St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born in Bristol, VA on April 16, 1955 to the late Doug and Virginia (Goodson) Roark. He is preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Goffinet, a brother, Don Roark and triplet sons, Jamie, Jeremy and Jared Roark. Phil had worked at Aleris for 32 years and was currently working as an auctioneer and a realtor with Indiana Reality & Auction Co. and Braham & Braham Auction Co. He enjoyed running beagles, hunting, boating, making people laugh and especially spending time with family. Surviving is his wife of 14 years, Emily (Cronin) Roark; sons, Christopher Roark (Jamie), Jason "Jake" Roark and Dacota Schaad; a daughter, Casandra Schaad; brothers Ron and Darrel Roark and Bill Webster; seven grandchildren, Alesa, Terissa, Kaden, Ayron, Makenzy, Cloie and Jacie Roark; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 11:00AM CST Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Rev. Paul Alvey will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3:00-8:30PM CST and Wednesday 9:00-11:00 AM at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City. Memorial contributions may be made to Eddie Cronin Football Memorial Scholarship Fund.
