Philip Esarey

Tell City, Indiana Philip ""Tip"" Esarey, 67, passed away Monday, December 21, 2009 at his home. He was born in Branchville on July 10, 1942 son of Perry Esarey and Margaret (Hayward) Sturgeon. Tip was preceded in death by his father, Perry Esarey and a sister, Delta Stow. He was a 1961 graduate of Oil Township High School, and was a machinist at MasterBrand. Tip enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting and spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors are: Son, Wade Esarey, English, Indiana Mother, Maggie (Hayward) Sturgeon, Branchville, Indiana Sister, Bernita ""Neat"" Branham, Tell City, Indiana 2 Grandchildren, Jordan Esarey and Ashley Schaefer 3 Great Grandchildren, Trenton, Marissa and Kenzie Schaefer Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM CST on Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at Huber Funeral Home Tell City Chapel with burial at Walker Cemetery in Branchville. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time. Memorial contributions may be made to Walker Cemetery.
