Tell City, Indiana Pearl S. Paulin, 90, passed away at 11:35 AM Tuesday October 10, 2006 at Oakwood Health campus in Tell City. Pearl was born April 16, 1916 in Perry County, Indiana the daughter of the late Clarence and Myrtle (Eads) Smith. She married Walter A. Paulin July 23, 1936 in Hardinsburg, Kentucky. Walt passed away in 1993. Also preceding her in death was a brother, Everett Smith and two sisters, Cordia McLevain and Nellie James. A member of Evangelical United Church of Christ and Columbia Rebekah Lodge # 314, she and her husband owned and operated Paulin Scrap Iron and Metal Yard for many years. Pearl enjoyed being in Florida and she and her husband lived there from 1978 to 1993. She sold Avon products and enjoyed sewing. She is survived by: Her sister: Norma Schneider, Tell City, Indiana Her brother: Virgil Smith, Rockport, Indiana Several nieces, nephews, and cousins Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday, October 13, 2006 at Huber Funeral Home, 1139 12th Street, Tell City. Rev. Lance Lackore will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Tell City. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday and from 9:00 to 11:00 AM Friday at Huber Funeral Home-Tell City Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Evangelical United Church of Christ
