Paul Mills

Paul M. Mills, 83, passed away on February, 7, 2018, while visiting family in Ormond Beach, Florida. He was born in Tell City on September 22, 1934, son of the late Walter A. and Pearl L.(Powell) Mills. Also preceding him in death were his sisters, Delores Mackey and Regina Conway and a grandson, Cliff Jackson. Paul married Faye Sandage on December 16, 1956 in Ringgold, Georgia. A U.S. Marine Corp veteran, Paul retired from the former National Southwire Aluminum in Hawesville, Kentucky. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and Tell City Masonic Lodge. Paul enjoyed woodworking, remodeling, crafts and attending craft shows. Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Faye (Sandage) Mills; children, Mike Mills (Patty), Jasper, Kathy Mills York (John), Ormond Beach, Florida and Tracy Mills (Tabitha), St. Cloud, Florida; grandchildren; Brittany Cable, St. Cloud, Florida, Lindsay Penley, Tampa, Florida, Chris Sabelhaus, Tell City, Casey Sabelhaus Hall, Leopold and Megan Mills, St. Cloud, Florida. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 13, 2018, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Rev. Sam Padgett will officiate. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 7:00 PM on Monday and from 9:00 AM until service time on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to a favorite charity.
