Patty Ramsey

Derby, Indiana - Patty Ramsey, 79, passed away, Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Perry County Memorial Hospital. She was born in Tell City, May 5, 1933, daughter of the late Curtis and Ruth (Cunningham) Goble. Patty was also preceded in death by her husband Ernest Ramsey; brother, Maurice Goble and granddaughter Stacy Osborne. Patty attended grade school in Derby and was a 1951 graduate of Tell City High School. She was a bus driver for Perry Central School for many years and was owner and operator of Ramsey's Tavern. Patty was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and enjoyed NASCAR, all sports especially IU. She is survived by daughters; Mary Holland (Charles), Diana Feix (Joseph), Kathy Hurm (Darrell), Laura Holmes (Todd); sons, Lewis Ramsey (Rita) and Patrick Ramsey (Pat); grandchildren, Rindy Zingraf, Delene Noble, Jason Hurm, Jeremy Hurm, Josh Hurm, Shane Ramsey, Jamie Zellers, Destiny Mullis, James Ramsey, Ramsey Wright, Whitney Wright, Riley Holmes and J.T.York; 17 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday, February 15, 2013 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Derby. Rev. Dennis Duvelius will officiate. Visitation will be 3:00 until 7:00 PM Thursday and from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Cemetery in Derby.
