Patrick Brumfield

Tell City, Indiana Patrick N. Brumfield, 56, passed away March 26, 2016 at IU Medical Center in Indianapolis. He was born April 27, 1959 in Tell City, son of the late Christie and Charlene "Tom" (Eger) Brumfield. Also preceding him in death was a brother, Mike Brumfield, sister, Lori Turner, and granddaughter, Haylee Voiles. A 1977 graduate of Tell City High School, he married his high school sweetheart Joanne Guillaume on February 18, 1978. Pat owned and operated Brumfield Excavation. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, working on his farm, gardening, making wine and grilling out. Pat was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and a great friend to all that knew him. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Joanne (Guillaume) Brumfield; daughters, Sonja Hess (Jeff), Trish Hermann (Kevin), and Lisa Voiles (Travis); ten grandchildren, Brittany Brumfield, Mark, Christopher and J.R. Hess, Eric and Neil Schaad, Cameron Rudolph, Jaymonn and Trey Hermann and Layne Voiles; two great grandchildren, Paxton Schaad and Addilyn Forler; siblings, Sharla Goffinet (Larry), Paul Brumfield and Chuck Brumfield (Pam) and several nieces and nephews. As per Pat's wishes, there will be no visitation or services. Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel handled his arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia Society or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
