Patricia K. "Pat" Cooper

Tell City, Indiana Patricia K. "Pat" Cooper, 72, passed away March 23, 2020. She was born in Tell City, Indiana on October 19, 1947 to late Russell and Catherine (Richardson) Newton. Pat was a 1965 graduate of Tell City High School. She was united in marriage on September 11, 1965 to Jerry Cooper, who survives. Pat worked as director of sales for several hotels. She loved to travel, especially to Australia and New Zealand, cooking, her job at Wild Bill's and her get togethers with her 1965 classmates. Pat was currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Perry County Convention and Visitors Bureau. Pat's pleasant personality helped her face her cancer diagnosis head on with a positive attitude. Surviving is her husband, Jerry Cooper, Tell City; her children, Debra Schuetz (Jeffrey), Sun City, CA and Lane Cooper, Anaheim, CA; brothers, Russell Newton (Mary Jane), Cannelton, Carl Newton (Linda), Indianapolis, Glenn Newton, Tell City, Rick Newton (Lisa), Tell City and Joe Newton (Jeanne), Hendersonville, TN; grandchildren, David, Corey and Tyler Schuetz; great grandchildren, Elyzabeth, Logan, Alanna and Aria. There will be no services. Huber Funeral Home, Tell City is assisting the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
