Omer Polen

Cannelton, Indiana Omer E. Polen, 69, passed away July 28, 2015 at Oakwood Health Campus. He was born March 25, 1946 in English, son of the late Robert R. and Mabel O. (Real) Polen. Also preceding him in death was his sister, Mary Anderson and daughter, Carolyn Polen. A member of Bristow Pentecostal Church, he enjoyed fishing and hunting and coon hunting. Omer had worked at Miles Farms. Omer is survived by his wife, Linda; sons, Omer E. "Eddie" Polen, Jr., Grandview and Robert Polen, Cannelton; step-daughters, Debbie Mullen, Tell City and Janis Waters, Grandview; brothers, James Judd, Cannelton and Robert Polen, Alabama; 15 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Funeral services are noon Thursday, July 30, 2015, at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel, with burial in Bristow Cemetery. Bro. Arlie Brock will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
