Oletta Kellems

Tell City, Indiana Oletta C. Kellems, 70, passed away on August 2, 2021 at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Campus in Jasper. She was born in Jeffersonville, Indiana on September 27, 1950, daughter of the late Narvel and Margaret (McGee) Morrison. Also preceding her in death were her husband, Elmer Gene Kellems; a daughter, Patty Kellems; sister, Alice and two brothers, James and Joe. Oletta worked as a CNA at Scenic Hills at the Monastery. She enjoyed her job and spending time with her family and friends. Surviving are her children, Alice McCollom (Christopher), Jasper and Samantha Kellems, Lawrenceville, Illinois, Daniel, Elmer and Kenny Kellems; eleven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren; sisters, Annette Nixon and Ernestine Lancaster and a brother, Leonard Morrison. Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM CDT on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Burial will follow in Lilly Dale Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.
