Nila Hall

Tell City, Indiana - Nila J. "Jeanie" Hall, 82, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2015, at Oakwood Health Campus. She was born in Spencer County, Indiana, on August 3, 1932. Her parents were the late Ora L. and Evelyn L. (Thurman) Hall. Also preceding her in death was her sister, Alberta Rice and brothers, Cecil Gorman, Vernon Gorman, Tommy Hall and Elmer Hall. Jeanie retired from General Electric in 1972 where she worked for over 20 years. She was a member of Tell City First Church of the Nazarene. Surviving are her sisters, Ruth Terry ("Doc"), Tell City and Erma Bryan (Bill), New Haven, Indiana; a sister-in-law who was her caregiver, Cindy Hall Foster (Larry), Tell City and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in Grandview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 PM on Monday and from 9:00 am until service time on Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to Tell City First Church of the Nazarene.
