Nelda Shadwick

Cannelton, Indiana - Nelda Shadwick, 81, passed away at 8:15 PM on Wednesday, April 12, 2006, at Beverly Health Care in Tell City. She was born in Cannelton on September 16, 1924. Her parents were the late Ollie and Florence (Frizzell) Heffner. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Raymond D. Shadwick in 1989. Nelda was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Cannelton. In 1960, she retired from the City of Evansville where she was the secretary and bookkeeper for Roberts Stadium. Surviving her are nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 15, 2006, at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel, with burial in New Cliff Cemetery in Cannelton. Friends may call from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday and from 9:00 AM until service time on Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's United Church of Christ. Rev. Mike Thompson will officiate.
