Neita Storckman

Tell City, Indiana - Neita M. Storckman, 91, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2008, at Oakwood Health Campus. She was born on September 26, 1917, in Perry County. Her parents were the late Lonnie and Rosa (Peckinpaugh) Lanman. Also preceding her in death were her brothers, Lovell and B.A. Lanman, a sister, Lucille Shephard and her husband, Dick Storckman. Neita retired from Perry County Memorial Hospital in 1976 where she was a registered nurse. A member of Lilly Dale Church of Christ, she enjoyed nature, especially feeding the birds and vegetable gardening. Surviving: Son - Lee Storckman, rural Tell City, Indiana Step Granddaughter - Duska Applegate Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 27, 2008, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in Lilly Dale Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until service time on Saturday at the funeral home. Pastor Milton Pledger will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to Lilly Dale Cemetery or Tell City-Perry County Public Library.
