Nancy Spencer

Tell City, Indiana Nancy Lea Spencer, 79, passed away March 14, 2015 at St. Vincent Heart Center in Indianapolis. She was born in Perry County March 7, 1936, daughter of the late Leo and Mary Agnes (Hubbuch) Spencer. Also preceding her in death were sisters, Mary Frances Montgomery and Lucille Williams. Nancy was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church, Indiana State Retired Teachers Association, National Education Association, Woman's Travel Club and Lincoln Hills quilting guild. She was a music and drama teacher at Perry Central Community School for several years. Nancy enjoyed quilting, playing bridge, traveling and cooking. She is survived by sisters; Elaine Seibert (Paul), Tell City and Annette LeMaire (Bill), West Chester, PA; brothers, David Spencer (Kinko), Raleigh, NC, John "Jack" Spencer (Arletta), Round Rock, TX, and Kent Spencer, Joshua, TX, and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, March 21, 2014 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Rev. Dennis Duvelius will officiate. Visitation will be from 3:00 until 7:00 PM Friday and from 9:00 until 11:00 AM Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark Catholic Church, St. Michael Cemetery or American Heart Association.
