Nancy Nugent

Nancy "Dean" (House) Nugent, 84, passed away April 6, 2015, at Golden Living Center Lincoln Hills. Dean was born on November 14, 1930, in Hancock County, Kentucky to the late Elmont R. and Thelma M. House. She was also preceded in death by her husband Elvin Nugent in 1990; two brothers, Dale and Jerry House; two sisters, Mary Evelyn Rice and Dolores Gibbs. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Tell City and attended Hancock County School System. Dean enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, going to flea markets and collecting antiques. She had been employed at Mary Ruth's Dress Shop for 16 years, formerly located in Tell City and was the owner of Baby and Teen Shop for 11 years, also formerly in Tell City. Dean was a very special person and all who were fortunate enough to know her were truly blessed. She is survived by two brothers; Donald House (Margie), Tell City and Russell House (Glenn), Owensboro, Kentucky; sister, Merle H. Quinn, Hawesville, Kentucky and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Rev. Dan Hopkins and Rev. Ralph Voyles will officiate. Visitation will be from 3:00 until 8:00 PM on Wednesday and from 9:00 AM until service time on Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church.
