Myrle Pekinpaugh

Tell City, Indiana Myrle Pekinpaugh, 84, formerly of Perry County, died at 10:55 PM Friday at Thorton Terrace in Hanover, Indiana. Myrle was born near Gatchel January 3, 1921, daughter of the late Adlai and Daisy (Howell) Taylor. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Pekinpaugh in 1989, two brothers, Adlai Taylor, Jr. and Philip Taylor and a sister, Lucille, in infancy. Myrle was a graduate of Tell City High School, a member of Tell City Church of Christ and was, for many years, a member of TOPS. She is survived by a daughter, Dalene Arnett, Milton, Kentucky, two half brothers, Robert Darryl Taylor and Gary Taylor, both of Tell City, three grandchildren, Dawn and Christopher Arnett and Dana Dailey and six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in Lilly Dale Cemetery. Bro. Randy Coultas will officiate. Visitation is from 2:00 until 8:00 PM Monday and from 9:00 until 11:00 AM Tuesday at Huber Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Lilly Dale Cemetery.
