Monica Strahl

Tell City, Indiana Monica M. Strahl, 84, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2009, at Oakwood Health Campus. She was born in Perry County on March 19, 1925, daughter of the late Riley and Anna (Bruggenschmidt) Mosby. Monica was married to James Strahl who passed away in 1984. Also preceding her in death were her brothers, Paul, Ferd and Alfus Mosby. Monica worked at General Electric retiring in 1987. She enjoyed playing bingo, cooking and gardening. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and Daughters of Isabella. She is survived by: Sons - Paul Strahl and his wife Beverly, Cassville, MO Steve Strahl and his wife Jan, Hatfield, IN Dennis Strahl and his wife Karen, Tell City, IN Daughters - Mary Ann Kiningham and her husband Paul, Roanoke, IN Phyllis Strahl, Gulf Port, FL Gloria Allen and her husband John, Tell City, IN 13 Grandchildren 15 Great Grandchildren A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 9, 2009, at St. Paul Catholic Church with burial at St. Mary's Cemetery. Rev. Paul Etienne will officiate. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 8:00 PM on Thursday and from 8:30 until 9:30 on Friday at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. There will be a Daughters of Isabella memorial service on Thursday at 6:30 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Vista Care Hospice.
