Michael Bryan Knasel, 45, passed away in an automobile accident on February 12, 2025.
He was born to Charlene (Lone) Knasel and William Lewis Knasel, Jr. on March 27, 1979, in Corydon, Indiana.
Mike was currently employed at ATTC Manufacturing where he worked in maintenance.
Coming from a large family, Mike also had a large family of his own, being a proud father and grandfather to his six children and one grandson.
He was outgoing, loving and always had a smile on his face. He was generous and was always willing to help anyone in need.
An adrenaline junkie, Mike enjoyed caving, fishing, boating, rappelling and hunting arrowheads. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and was always up for a good time.
He is survived by his wife, Ashley (Ingle) Knasel; children, Taylynn Ingle Smith (Lance Gardner), Jaedyn Knasel (Billy Claise), Hunter, Gage, Kylie and Mayci Knasel; Braxton Pate for whom he looked at like a son; father, Bill Knasel, Jr.; mother, Charlene Knasel; sisters, Michelle McFarling (David), Alicia Miller (Tim), Tiffani Avila (Moses); brothers, his twin, Chris Knasel (Bridgette Kellems) and Nick Knasel; one grandson, Kobie Claise; grandparents, William, Sr. and Shirley Knasel and Charlotte Lone and several nieces and nephews. Mike was preceded in death by his grandfather, Charlie Lone.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM CST on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Monday from 3:00-7:00 PM and Tuesday from 12:00-2:00 PM at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to his children.
