Mike Elder

Michael L. “Mike” Elder, 60, passed away on January 11, 2024.

He was born on March 26, 1963 to the late Elton and Bertha (Naviaux) Elder.

Mike was a 1981 graduate of Tell City High School. He was united in marriage on June 26, 1983 to Brenda Hagedorn, enjoying 40 years together.

Mike’s love of football began in the seventh grade, where he played through his senior year of high school. He enjoyed watching football, deer hunting, going to shooting matches and concerts at the Lincoln Amphitheater. He loved all dogs, especially his coon hounds and his special buddy, Pepper. A people person, Mike was outgoing and never met a stranger. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post #115.

Surviving is his wife, Brenda Elder of Lamar, and his sister, Lisa Graham (Steve) of Tell City.

Per Mike’s request, there will be no services. Huber Funeral Home, Tell City is assisting the family with arrangements.
