Michael Voyles

Tell City, Indiana Michael G. "Mike" Voyles, 68, passed away on June 26, 2017 at his home. He was born October 9, 1948 in Whitesville, Kentucky, son of the late Otis Voyles and Etta Myurl (Fulkerson) Rearden. Also preceding him in death was a brother in infancy, Jimmy and a sister, Linda Sue. Mike had worked in maintenance at Perry County Memorial Hospital, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Huntingburg and was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was an avid gun collector and enjoyed fellowship at church, where he was the Tell City Branch Elder's Quorum President. He is survived by a sister, Gail Rearden, Tell City; step sister, Linda Kay Terry, Cannelton, niece Kim Dickey, Monclova, Ohio; nephew, Brandon Rust, Frankfort, Kentucky and an aunt for whom he was close to, Mary Helen Voyles, Tell City. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, June 30, 2017, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Branch President Larry Hardman will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
