Michael Sims

Cannelton, Indiana Michael Sims, 51, of Cannelton, passed away October 24, 2016. He was born in Tell City on June 14, 1965, son of Dennis W. and Judith (Rust) Sims. Mike was a 1983 graduate of Cannelton High school and had been employed at Kimball International for over thirty years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and NASCAR. Mike is survived by his parents, Dennis and Judy Sims, Lamar, Indiana; his sister, Lynn (Tim) Howe, and a niece, Ashley, Tell City; and his grandparents, Mary Rust and Goldie Irene Sims, both of Tell City. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank Rust and Floyd Sims. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel. Visitation is from 3:00 until 7:00 PM on Wednesday and 9:00 AM until service time on Thursday. Burial will be at a later date in Troy Cemetery.
