Mary Young

Cannelton, Indiana - Mary K Young, 61, passed away on Friday, March 16, 2012, at Owensboro Medical Health Systems. She was born in Perry County on March 9, 1951. Her parents were the late Robert McFall and Alice (Wilson) McFall Crowe. Also preceding her in death was her husband John W. Young, Jr.; a brother, Talmadge Tindall and a sister in infancy. A 1969 graduate of Cannelton High School, Mary K enjoyed yard sales, gambling, camping and spending time with family and friends. She and her husband, John, were co-owners of Young's Used Cars and Wrecker Service. Surviving her are her children, Shawn Young-Glenn, Deanna Young (Danny Wheeler) and John W. Young III (Cindy); grandchildren, Courtney Glenn, Caressa Sloss, Gracie Kellems, Alice Star Bernardi and Dylan Young and her mother-in-law, Nettie Young. She is also survived by special card playing friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, March 19, 2012, at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery in Tell City.
