Tell City, Indiana Mary Ina Webb, 86, formerly of Tell City, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at Deaconess Hospital, Evansville, Indiana. Mary Ina was born on September 1, 1921 in Chrisney, Indiana to the late Joe Oliver Bash and Ellen Elizabeth Robbins Bash Nuetzel. Upon the death of her father, Mary Ina, at age 6, and three of her sisters went to live at the Indiana Soldiers and Sailors Children's Home in Knightstown, Indiana. Mary Ina left the home at age 17 to live with her eldest sister, Dorothy Morris in Frankfurt, Indiana. After high school she joined her sisters and mother in Tell City, Indiana. It was there that she met Marion John Webb. They were married on October 29, 1941. He was her loving and devoted husband of 31 years, and has welcomed her home with open arms. Marion preceded her in death in 1972. Others preceding her in death were her four sisters, Ona Mae Schauberger, Faye Sanders, Jo Wanda Kincaid, Dorothy Morris and one brother, David Nuetzel. She was an avid Indianapolis Colts fan. Although Mary Ina lived in Evansville for many years, she always called Tell City her home. Our mother and grandmother was a most loving and unselfish woman who was committed to her family and will be greatly missed. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Beverly Webb Burris of Evansville, Indiana and John Webb of Janesville, Wisconsin, six grandchildren, Brad Burris and Patty of Phoenix, Arizona, Jill Wilkinson, Evansville, Scott Burris of Acworth, Georgia, Johnna Crabtree and Jeremy, Jodi Richardt and Jeremy, and Jessica Nevel all of Wisconsin, and Keith Wilkinson of Evansville, who was like her grandson. Mary also leaves behind fifteen great-grandchildren. Mary's family would like to give special thanks to Dr. William Hardesty, who gave her such wonderful care through her years. We also thank Deaconess Hospital's 3600 and 3900 ICU and Hospice Care Center for the loving care shown to her.
