Mary Ward

Tell City, Indiana Mary Agnes Ward, 83, passed away Monday March 18, 2013 at Golden Living Center-Lincoln Hills. She was born in Perry County July 5, 1929 daughter of the late Andrew and Katherine (James) Jarboe. Also preceding her in death was a brother Paul Jarboe and sisters, Dorothy Taylor and Clara Jarboe. She was united in marriage March 16, 1946 to Ralph Ward, who survives. Mary retired from General Electric in 1989 after 37 years. A member of St. Paul Catholic Church and Daughters of Isabella, she enjoyed fishing. Mary is survived by her husband of 67 years, Ralph Ward; daughter, Carolyn Cronin, Tell City; sister, Sarah Beard, Muncie; brother, William Jarboe, Tell City; 2 grandchildren, Marty Cronin and Shannon Krautkremer and 5 great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Thursday at St. Paul Catholic Church with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 until 8:00 PM Wednesday where there will be a Daughters of Isabella service at 6:30 PM and from 8:30 until 9:30 AM Thursday at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Catholic Church or St. Mary's Cemetery.
