Mary Underhill

Cannelton, Indiana Mary Underhill, 91, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at Perry County Memorial Hospital. She was born July 23, 1919 in Bandon daughter of the late Victor and Julia (Hermann) Devillez. Also preceding her in death was her husband Charles E. Underhill in 2001 and a brother Joseph Devillez. A graduate of Oil Township High School, Mary retired from General Electric in 1974. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and St. Ann's Society, enjoyed quilting, working puzzles ,flower gardening, and traveling. She is survived by her son, Michael Underhill, Tobinsport, 4 nieces, Barbara Devillez, Vicki Hall and Sheila Foster, all of Tell City, Sharon Meunier, Louisville, KY, and 1 nephew, Robert Devillez, Austin, TX. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM Friday, December 31, 2010 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Leopold with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Barnabas Gillespie O.S.B. will officiate. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 7:00 PM on Thursday and from 8:30 until 9:30 AM on Friday at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael Catholic Church or St. Augustine Cemetery.
