Cannelton, Indiana Mary Lois Smith, 74, passed away on April 11, 2023 at Deaconess Midtown in Evansville. She was born in Tell City on August 17, 1948. Mary was a member of Safe Harbor Church in Pellville, KY and she enjoyed being with her church family and spoiling her grandkids. Surviving are her children, Gary Miller, Lois Swihart, Cannelton and Michael A. Miller (Amanda), of Tell City; grandchildren, Kristy Royer (Matt), Kayla Swihart (Josh Troutman), Claire Williams, Michael J. Miller, Hannah Miller, Hayden Miller, Zander Thomas and Sydnei Gehlhausen (Adam); great grandchildren, Gage and Ryder Royer, Carson and Abby Troutman, Carson and Bodie, Malakai and Oaklynn Gelhausen; a brother, William Sandage, Tell City; sisters, Pat Vandergrift, Hawesville, KY and Vicki Reed, Tell City and a half- brother, Donald Bolin, Cannelton. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Estil Sandage and Elouise (Harris) Bolin; a brother, John Sandage; a sister, Flora Martin; half-brother, Albert Bolin and half-sisters, Barbara and Velma Bolin, Helen Burns and Ellen Rush. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM CDT on Friday, April 14, 2023 at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel. Brother Larry Sosh will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until service time. Memorial contributions may be made to Safe Harbor Church.
