Mary was employed at General Electric in Tell City for twenty-five years, and then retired in 1985 from Crittenden Hospital in Rochester, Michigan where she had been employed for fifteen years. Mary was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, the Daughters of Isabella Nativity Circle #710 and a past member of William Tell Senior Citizens where she loved to dance. She also enjoyed canning, making jelly, gardening, crocheting and being with family and friends. Mary is survived by one daughter, Velma Hubert, Tell City, Indiana Two sons, Loren A. Howe, Troy, Indiana Steven M. Howe, Gatchel, Indiana One sister, Mermon Sprinkle, Cloverdale, Indiana Two brothers, James Sheldon Sprinkle, Quincy, Indiana Thomas Sprinkle, Jr., Tell City, Indiana Seven grandchildren, Lonnie Howe, Megan Cole, Denny and Chad Hubert, Heath and Brad Howe, Shannon Sprinkle There are several great grandchildren Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at St. Paul Catholic Church with burial in Walker Cemetery, Branchville, Indiana. Visitation is from 2:00 until 8:00 PM Tuesday and 8:30 - 9:30 AM Wednesday at Huber Funeral Home, 1139 12th Street, Tell City, Indiana where a parish prayer service and D of I memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to Heritage Hospice or Walker Cemetery.
