Tell City, Indiana
Mary Lee Aldridge, 87, passed away on July 19, 2024.
She was born on March 17, 1937, the daughter of Lester and Ester (Bauman) Bailey.
Mary Lee had been an active member of Tell City First Baptist Church where she looked forward to volunteer with VBS and hospitality.
Mary Lee loved to plant flowers as there were never enough for her beautifully kept yard and flower beds. She also enjoyed supporting her husband, Tom, who coached baseball for many years, by going to Little League games, Babe Ruth leagues and always would attend her grandchildren’s sporting events.
She retired in 1997, after 41 years at General Electric, where she was a union representative.
Surviving are her children, Bob Graham (Cyndi), Cathy Powell (Dave), Alese Aldridge and Brad Aldridge (Diane); grandchildren, Jason Graham, Jessi Mullen (Jed), Dr. Bailey Powell, Stephanie Kline, Arika Seibert (Ryan Patmore), Brook Aldridge, Chase Aldridge (Krystal), Kirsten Eskridge and Aaron Eskridge (Julia Salmon) and several great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Thomas A. “Tom” Aldridge in July 2023; infant son, John Graham; stepson, Timothy L. Aldridge; and siblings Sarah Wright and Ed and Don Bailey.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM CDT on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Pastor Dan Hopkins will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday, July 26th from 3:00-7:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church’s Vacation Bible School Program.
