Tell City, Indiana - Mary A. (Hagedorn) Lautner, 97, passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2017, at Golden Living Center-Lincoln Hills. She was born in Perry County on June 27, 1919, daughter of the late William T. and Anna (Bockhold) Hagedorn. On April 23, 1941, Mary was united in marriage to Robert W. "Bob" Lautner. They were blessed with fifty five years of marriage before he passed away in 1996. Mary was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and St. Paul Ladies Quilters. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, canning, raising flowers and plants and spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are her children, Sharon Schaefer, St. Meinrad, Bill Lautner, Portola Valley, California, Betty Bahler (James), Southern Pines, North Carolina, Peggy Ball, Tell City, Mary Jo Carter (Randall), Tell City, Jane Horney (Gary), Jasper, Larry Lautner (Janet), Tell City and Marty Lautner, Lexington, Kentucky; brother, Hubert Hagedorn (Eulalia), Tell City; grandchildren, Pamela Davis, Adam Lautner, Christie Tabaretti, Michele Bahler, Meghan Darling, Brett Tuggle, Christopher Horney, Allyson Barnett, Jason Ball, Stacy Fleck, Whitney Carter Peter, Carrie Engelbrecht, Jaclyn Hill, Wade Franchville, Greg Lautner and Morgan Lautner. Mary has thirty great grandchildren. Preceding her in death besides her parents and husband, were her brothers, Charles William, in infancy, John, Alvin, Nick, Cletus and Raphael Hagedorn; sisters, Rose Harpenau, Agatha Harpenau, and Margaret Deom; daughter in law, Linda Lautner and sons in law, Elmer Schaefer and Dennis Ball. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM CDT on Saturday, May 27, 2017, at St. Paul Catholic Church with burial in St. Mark Cemetery. Rev. Dennis Duvelius will officiate. Visitation will be from 3:00 until 8:00 PM on Friday and from 8:30 until 9:30 AM on Saturday at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Catholic Church, St. Mark Cemetery or Heart to Heart Hospice.
