Tell City, Indiana Mary Belle Kempf, 75, passed away April 23, 2015 at Heartford House in Owensboro, KY. She was born in Derby, August 14, 1939, daughter of the late Alvia and Cecelia (Cassidy) Howell. Also preceding her in death was a son in infancy Douglas Kempf, sons, Darrel and Allen Kempf, and brothers, James and Ed Howell. Mary Belle had worked for Swiss Plywood for 37 years. She enjoyed going to "Wal-Mark", knitting, fishing, working puzzle books and going to the Dairy Queen for breakfast. She is survived by daughters; Pam Harding (Ralph), Cannelton, Thresa Jarboe (Michael), Hawesville, JoAnn Morgan, Cannelton and Mary Howe (Kenny), Tell City; son, Russell "Buck" Kempf (Laura), Cannelton; brothers, Clyde Howell, Tell City and Jerry Howell, Cannelton; sisters, Lois Burton, Derby and Catherine Williams, Tell City; sixteen grandchildren, Trent, Travis, Mariah, Rusty, Sarah ,Cody, Zachary, Nicholas ,Andrew, Kristy, Kourtney, Kasey, Jason, Cherish, Darrel ,Jeremy and several great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 12:00 PM Sunday at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel with burial in St. Mary Cemetery. Bro. Ron Ammons will officiate. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 8:00 PM Saturday and from 10:00 AM until service time on Sunday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Heartford House in Owensboro, KY.
