Mary Hubert

Tell City, Indiana Mary Maxine Hubert, 86, passed away October 3, 2018 at her home. She was born in Tell City, Indiana on January 7, 1932 to Hazel (Snyder) Gordon. Also preceding her in death was her sister, Bettye Albin and brothers, Gerald and Jimmy Gordon. Maxine was a graduate of Bristow High School and soon went to work at General Electric for 40 years, retiring in 1989. She was united in marriage on June 27, 1987 to Norman A. Hubert. She was a member of Troy First Christian Church and enjoyed reading, word puzzles, playing piano, bowling and traveling, especially to Branson, Missouri. Surviving is her husband of 31 years, Norman A. Hubert, Tell City; nieces and nephews, Vicki Harding (Richard), Jasper, Kim Albin (Gary Brahm), Bristow, Jeff Albin (Tammie Picou), Cannelton, Dr. Greg Gordon (Kim), Jasper and Steve Gordon (Lisa), Lamar; six great nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 CDT Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Brother Ray Howard will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 3:00-7:00 PM and Saturday 9:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Troy First Christian Church.
