Mary Holmes

Tell City, Indiana - Mary E. Holmes, 76, passed away August 13, 2014, at her home. She was born October 28, 1937 in Delaware County, Indiana, daughter of the late Claude Daum Sr. and Lota (Davis) Daum. She was also preceded in death by her husband Hiram Holmes in 1987. She retired from Far Best Foods and enjoyed crocheting. Mary is survived by a daughter; Marjorie Wilson, Tell City; sons, Lee Sinclair, Mariah Hill, Carl Sinclair, O'Fallon, MO, Scott Sinclair, Tell City and William Holmes, Cannelton; sisters, June Lewis, Muncie, Phyllis Howell, Tell City; brother, Joe Daum, Rome; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday, August 15, 2014 at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel with burial in New Cliff Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until service time. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
