Mary Helen Leisner-Cronin, 86, passed away on January 29, 2025, surrounded by her family.
She was born in Hardinsburg, Kentucky on November 23, 1938.
Mary Helen was the owner of the Antique Boutique, formerly in Tell City, for 20 years, closing in 1993.
She was united in marriage on July 20, 2013, to Curtis Cronin, at St. Paul Catholic Church, where she was a member. Mary Helen loved to shop, particularly for clothes, going to the casino, playing euchre and traveling with Curtis.
Surviving is her husband, Curtis Cronin; daughter, Lesa Ranger; stepsons, Danny Cronin and Timothy Cronin (Pamela); sisters, Betty Bryant-Cleveland and Ruby Yoakum; grandchildren, Jeremy Hempfling (Erin) and Dylan Hempfling and Katherine DeJesus and Leslie Ginther; great granddaughter, Gillian Hempfling and several nieces and nephews that she adored.
Preceding her in death was her father, Roy R. Snyder; mother and stepfather, Jane (White) and Francis Kellems; first husband, Joe Eddy “Jocko” Leisner; a son, Britt Leisner; stepdaughter, Rebecca Moses and a brother, Bill Snyder.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM CST on Friday, January 31, 2025, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Paul Catholic Church or the American Heart Association.
