Leopold, Indiana Mary F. Hagman, 90, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2014, at Golden Living Center in Tell City. She was born August 21, 1924 in St. Mark, daughter of the late Charles Krieg and Elizabeth (Basinger- Zeller) Krieg . Also preceding her in death was her husband, Gervase Hagman in 1974; son, Darrell Hagman; great granddaughter, Tayli Rose Hagman; sisters, Anna Schellenberg, Cornelia "Nellie" Winter and Helen Flannagan; brothers, Andrew, Aloysius "Wish", John, Norbert "Nip", Alvin, Walter and Charles Krieg. She was united in marriage to Gervase Hagman November 29, 1941 at St. Marks Catholic Church. A member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Mary retired in 1985 from General Electric where she had worked for 33 years. She enjoyed gardening, taking care of her yard, traveling, spending time with and cooking for her family. Mary is survived by her daughter; Marilyn Gibson (Don), Leopold; sons, Ronnie Hagman (Connie), Tell City, Jerry Hagman (Kay), Huntingburg and John Hagman (Sherry), St. Meinrad; daughter-in-law, Geraldine Hagman, Leopold; twelve grandchildren, Sherry Gill (Don), Roger Hagman (Helen), Chad Hagman, Craig Hagman (Lynn), Mark Hagman, Eric Hagman (Stacey), Angie Tuohy (Ray), Natalie Fulton (Quinton), Dustin Hagman, Brittany Scraper (Travis), Sheena Epperson (Eric) and Adam Hagman, fifteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 3, 2015, at St. Augustine Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 7:00 PM on Friday evening. Rev. Dennis Duvelius will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Augustine Catholic Church or St. Augustine Cemetery.
