Mary Evelyn Ward, 92, passed away on March 28, 2025, at Oakwood Health Campus, surrounded by her family.

She was born to Hayes and Mary Lorraine (Miller) Park on October 14, 1932, in Perry County, Indiana.

A 1951 graduate of Tell City High School, Mary Evelyn was married to Edward Ward and they were married for nearly 30 years until his passing in 1980.

Mary Evelyn enjoyed gardening, being outdoors, fishing and embroidering quilts.

She is survived by her granddaughter who cared for her, Catherine Aders (Kyle) and their children, Hudson, Henry, Oliver and Emma; granddaughter, Elizabeth Ward and her children, Ian and Ivy; a son, Paul Williams (Gail) and their children, Heike, Wesley and Devin.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, Edward Ward and a son, Mark Ward.

Visitation will be from 3:00-7:00 on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Private burial will held at a later date in St. Augustine Cemetery.
