Mary Dickenson

Tell City, Indiana Mary E. Dickenson, 65, passed away on Friday, December 05, 2014, at University Hospital in Indianapolis. Mary was born in Tell City on January 2, 1949, daughter of the late Clarence McCallister, Sr. and Frances (Rothgerber) McCallister. Her husband, Joe Dickenson, preceded her in death in 2003. Mary was a 1967 graduate of Tell City High School and was a member of Evangelical United Church of Christ. She was employed at Best Chair for over forty years. Mary enjoyed walking, gardening, NASCAR, playing the lottery, being with neighbors and family, especially her grandson. Mary is survived by her son, David Dickenson (Vicki), Tell City; sisters, Betty Wright (Kenny), Rome, Sue Sutcliffe (Donald), Tell City, Shirley Garner (Gale), Rome; brothers, Clarence McCallister, Jr. (Charlene), Tell City, Donald McCallister (Kathy), Paoli and a grandson, Cole Dickenson. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 7:00 PM Monday and 9:00 AM until service time on Tuesday. Pastor Lee Shepherd will officiate. Memorial contributions may be given to Evangelical United Church of Christ.
