Mary Dejarnette

Hawesville, Kentucky Mary Ann DeJarnette, 63, died Saturday, April 14, 2007, at her home on River Road in Hawesville. Mary Ann was born in Perry County, Indiana on March 14, 1944, daughter of the late Robert and Virginia (Wilson) Riley. She was also preceded it death by a daughter, Patsy Lee DeJarnette in infancy. Mary Ann graduated from Hawesville High School in 1961and was united in marriage to Richard DeJarnette on June 16, 1962. She was a member of the Hawesville Undenominational Church and the Tell City Bowling Association. She was an avid bowler, bingo player and University of Kentucky fan. Mary Ann enjoyed spending time with her grandson and loved helping others. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Richard DeJarnette, a daughter, Ginny DeJarnette, Hawesville, Kentucky, son, Bobby Joe DeJarnette, Evansville, Indiana, a brother, Robert G. ""Bobby"" Riley, Tell City, Indiana and a grandson, Stephen DeJarnette Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 18, 2007, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in New Cliff Cemetery in Cannelton, Indiana. Sister Frances Bruce will officiate. Visitation is from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday, from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday and from 9:00 AM until service time on Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or her church.
