Troy, Indiana Mary Lee Brown, 67, of Troy, passed away Monday, November 21, 2011 at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Tell City. Mary was born September 6, 1944 in Tell City, daughter of the late Arnold Jarboe and Josephine Hannaway Jarboe. She was married on February 11, 1960 to Larry K. Brown who survives. They lost a son, Mark Anthony Brown in infancy. Mary didn't complete her high school education, but always wanted to further her education. At the age of fifty, she enrolled in Ivy Tech and earned her associates degree in business administration. Mary had been an employee of Ohio County Hospital and Lincoln Hills Nursing Home. She was a member of Sugar Grove Baptist Church in Fordsville, Kentucky. She enjoyed crocheting, oil painting, feeding the birds and writing, especially poetry and short stories. Mary is survived by her husband of fifty-one years, Larry K. Brown, two daughters, Sylvia Brown, Troy, Cathy Jones (Mike), Evansville, Indiana, a son, Jeff Brown (Esther), Hammond, Indiana, one sister, Laura A. Ricker, Tell City, two brothers, Harold Jarboe, Plaquemine, Louisiana, and Edward Jarboe, Ft. Wayne, Indiana Three grandchildren, Jennifer Hauser Lindsey, Kristy Hauser Boyer and Larry Edwin Brown, four great grandchildren, Chloe Robinson, Ethan and Kendra Schraner and Lennon Boyer. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM CDT Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel with Rev. Lee Brown officiating. Visitation is from 3:00 to 7:00PM Friday and 9:00 to 11:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home.
