Marvin Sandage

Grandview, Indiana - Marvin E. Sandage, 63, passed away September 8, 2014 at Miller Merry Manor in Rockport. He was born in Perry County, November 2, 1950, son of the late Ernest and Ruth (Bryant) Sandage. Also preceding him in death was his wife Elizabeth "Liz" (Hughes) Sandage in 2011, nieces, Brandy Tanner and Rosalyn Sandage; nephews, Derrick, Michael, L.J., and Timmy Sandage. He was retired from Masterbrand, and enjoyed NASCAR, St. Louis Cardinals and attending his grandchildren's sporting events. Marvin is survived by his daughter; Kati Richard (Scott), Grandview; son, Eddie Sandage, Grandview; sisters, Margie Wethington (Paul), Hawesville, Sharon Duke (Dale), Cannelton, and Cathy Robbins (Ray), Evanston; brothers, Ernie Sandage (Sarah), Tell City, Ron Sandage (Delores), Troy, Bill Sandage (Jamie), Grandview, David Sandage, Cannelton, Larry Sandage (Lolene), Tell City, Steve Sandage (Diana), Cannelton, Mike Sandage, Georgia and Roger Sandage (Anna), Cannelton; grandchildren, Bradley Richard and Brenna Richard (a.k.a. "Fancy Pants"). Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, September 11, 2014, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery in Tell City. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until service time. Rev. Veltri Taylor will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
