Magnet, Indiana Mark W. Ward, 55, of Magnet, died Monday at the home of his mother. Mark was born November 3, 1956 in Tell City, Indiana, son of the late Edward M. Ward and Mary Evelyn Park Ward who survives. Mark was a 1975 graduate of Perry Central High School. He was employed at Hidden Valley Farms in Magnet and also worked as a mechanic. Mark was a member of Sons of American Legion, Post #44 in Newburgh, Indiana, the North American Hunting Club, the North American Fishing Club and was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association. Mark enjoyed nature in his work as a farmer, cutting timber and woods management, hunting , fishing and gardening. He was a Catholic by faith. Mark is survived by two daughters, Catherine Ward, Magnet, Elizabeth Kunkel, stationed in Korea, his mother, Mary Evelyn Ward, Magnet, his brother, Paul E. Williams, Palmyra, Indiana two grandchildren, Ian and Ivy Kunkel and his former wife, Ginny Hardin, Magnet. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM CDT Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with Pastor Andy Payton officiating. Burial is in Stephenson Cemetery, Dexter, Indiana. Visitation is from 2:00 - 7:00 PM Tuesday and 9:00 - 10:00 AM Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
