Mark Etienne

Tell City, Indiana Mark A. "Bomber" Etienne, 60, passed away April 27, 2017 at his home. He was born July 25, 1956 in Tell City, son of the late Ivo Etienne and Mary (Peter) Etienne, who survives. Also preceding him in death was his brother, Mike Etienne. A 1974 graduate of Tell City High School, he had worked for Mulzer Crushed Stone for over 20 years. He was a member of Perry County Coon Club, Southern Indiana Horseman's Club and Southern Indiana Draft Horse and Mule Association. Bomber enjoyed horseback riding, coon hunting, fishing, boating, watching IU basketball and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his beloved companion of 30 years, Annettie Ransom, Tell City; step-daughter, Jaime Smith (Allen), Tell City; mother, Mary Etienne, Tell City; sisters, Mary Ann Bernard (John), Evansville and Tracy Schroeder (Duane), Tell City; brothers, Tom Etienne, Tell City and John Etienne (Ruthie), Leopold; three grandchildren, Rhett, Kya and Jaya Smith and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM Monday, May 1, 2017 at St. Paul Catholic Church with burial in Walker Cemetery in Branchville. Rev. Dennis Duvelius will officiate. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 7:00 PM on Sunday and from 8:30 until 9:30 AM Monday at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Perry County Coon Club, Alzheimer's Association or Heart to Heart Hospice.
