Marilyn Phillips

Cannelton, Indiana Marilyn Phillips, 59, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2016 at Houston Methodist Hospital in Sugar Land, Texas. She was born in Perry County, Indiana February 22, 1956, daughter of the late Herbert and Martha Lee (Coyle) Claise. Marilyn grew up in Cannelton, Indiana and attended St. Michael Catholic Church. She was united in marriage April 2, 1977 at St. Paul Catholic Church to Terry Phillips, who survives. Marilyn was the manager for Farmers Insurance in Sugar Land, Texas. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her dogs. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Terry Phillips, daughter, Tara Phillips, both of Sugar Land, Texas and brother, Mike Claise, Lewisport, Kentucky. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, February 6, 2016, at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel with burial in St. Michael Cemetery. Rev. Tom Richstatter will officiate. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 PM Friday and from 9:00 AM until service time Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael Catholic Church or Alzheimer's Association.
