Tell City, Indiana Marguerite H. Biever, 90, passed away July 11, 2016 . She was born in the St. Marks area, in Perry County on May 20, 1926. Marguerite was the daughter of the late Frank and Frances (Strobel) Harpenau. Also preceding her in death was her husband Joseph B. Biever in 2013, and a sister Betty Werne. Marguerite had worked at General Electric and was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Auxiliary. Marguerite was an avid reader, enjoyed sewing and caring for her family. She is survived by her daughters; Diane White (Billy), Lewisport, KY and Gina Braunecker (Buddy Winkler), Tell City; son, Kevin Biever (Kim), Cannelton; sisters, Blanche Lavin, Moline, IL, Doris Werne, Ferdinand, and Jeanette Gill, Sullivan; brother, Donald Harpenau (Eleanor), Chrisney; eleven grandchildren, David Biever (Ashley), Gary Biever, Billy White III (Melissa), Michael White, Dallas Mahaney (Buffy), Tonya Gibson (Grant), Steven Basham (Jennifer), Joey Braunecker (Brandy), Jake Braunecker (Noemie), B.J. Winkler and Kylee Thomas and fifteen great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at St. Paul Catholic Church with burial in St. Mary Cemetery. Rev. Dennis Duvelius will officiate. Visitation will be from 3:00 until 8:00 PM Wednesday and from 8:30 until 9:30 AM Thursday at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Sisters of St. Benedict.
